Vancouver is blessed by the fact that unlike most major ports of the world there is significant integration of public lands and public access points from which to view harbour activity. The shoreline of the port also benefits from daily tides that constantly replace the waters of Burrard Inlet making them a pleasure to be close to. The water is relatively clear and the port authorities have taken measures to ensure that marine life continues to flourish in spite of all the industrial and commercial activity. These images provide support to the fact that no other port can boast of a more spectacular setting.
